Why Donate?
The English Concert has spent over 50 years performing baroque music as though it still has something new to say. This has taken us from Carnegie Hall to the BBC Proms, to rooms where a period orchestra has never been heard before.
The support we receive from individual donors is the backbone of it all. It is our friends, patrons, and one-off supporters who allow the musicians to programme rich, often surprising repertoire; who allow both star performers and new emerging artists to perform with us; and who keep the Handel for All cameras rolling so that our work can endure for generations.
By giving to The English Concert, you are choosing to keep the orchestra’s music echoing for many years to come.
“Your encouragement reminds us that what we do is still significant in people’s lives” – Joe Crouch, principal cello

Handel for All
Recording and filming Handel’s complete works, free to watch, anywhere with an internet connection. A multi-decade project funded gift by gift. Trusts, named recording sponsors, and patrons designating their gift here are extending the library piece by piece.

Friends & Patrons
Patrons fund the work ticket income alone cannot: recordings, US tours, young artists making debuts. Coram, Hanover, Chandos, Medici: four named tiers, an annual commitment, a closer relationship with the orchestra. Friends sit alongside, from £5 a month.

Corporate & Trusts
Concert sponsorship, tour sponsorship, recording underwriting, named chairs. For companies and grant-making trusts whose support is built to attach to work that tours from Wigmore Hall to Carnegie Hall.

Remember us in your will
The music we play is older than any of us and outlives all of us. A bequest to The English Concert keeps it living. We are ready to have a quiet conversation when you are.
