Harry Bicket is Artistic Director of The English Concert and among today's leading directors of baroque and classical music, with guest engagements in major concert halls and opera houses on both sides of the Atlantic. › View
Nadja Zwiener
Nadja Zwiener is Leader of The English Concert. She attended the Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach Music School in Berlin before studying violin and chamber music at Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler with Eberhard Feltz. › View
William Carter

Born in Florida, William Carter trained as a modern guitarist with Bruce Holzman at The Florida State University before falling in love with the earlier plucked instruments and the world of historical performance. He travelled to London as a Fulbright Scholar, where he studied the lute with Nigel North and quickly established himself as one of the leading players on old instruments.
